Introduction
Belt Screen Changers are fully automatic continuous melt filtration systems designed for high-throughput polymer extrusion and recycling applications. Instead of replacing individual filter screens, these systems continuously advance filter belts to provide uninterrupted melt filtration with minimal operator intervention.
The series includes single-belt and double-belt configurations, delivering reliable filtration performance for applications ranging from conventional extrusion to heavily contaminated recycled materials.
Overview
Belt Screen Changers continuously remove contaminants from molten polymers by automatically advancing the filter belt during production. Unlike conventional screen changers, the filtration process continues without interrupting extrusion, allowing stable melt pressure and consistent product quality throughout long production runs.
The single-belt configuration provides an economical automatic filtration solution for standard production, while the double-belt design utilizes dual chambers and dual sealing technology to achieve higher filtration precision, greater production stability, and longer continuous operating cycles for demanding recycling applications.

The Belt Screen Changer series includes two automatic filtration solutions for different production requirements:
- Single-Belt Automatic Screen Changer – Provides fully automatic continuous screen changing with a compact structure, making it suitable for standard extrusion and medium-capacity production lines requiring reliable automatic filtration.
- Double-Belt Automatic Screen Changer – Incorporates dual chambers and dual sealing technology to achieve uninterrupted filtration, higher filtration precision, support for multi-layer filter belts, and extremely low melt loss. It is particularly recommended for recycling applications processing heavily contaminated materials where maximum production continuity and filtration efficiency are required. The catalog indicates filtration precision up to 200 mesh or higher and melt loss below 0.5% under suitable operating conditions.
For conventional extrusion lines with moderate filtration requirements, Slide Plate Screen Changers or Piston Screen Changers provide cost-effective alternatives. Where screen replacement is undesirable and long-term automatic filtration is required, the Belt Screen Changer series offers the highest level of production automation within the screen changer product family.
