Laboratory Instruments
Voltage Breakdown Tester
Introduction
The Voltage Breakdown Tester is a professional testing instrument designed to evaluate the dielectric strength and withstand voltage performance of solid insulating materials under AC or DC high voltage conditions.
The system applies gradually increasing voltage to the specimen until electrical breakdown occurs, allowing accurate measurement of breakdown voltage, dielectric strength, and insulation performance.
With configurable voltage ranges, control systems, and temperature testing options, the instrument provides flexible solutions for research laboratories, material development, quality inspection, and industrial testing applications.
Overview
The Voltage Breakdown Tester integrates a high-voltage generation system, precision measurement system, automatic discharge system, electrode positioning system, and data analysis software.
The instrument supports AC and DC voltage breakdown testing for various solid insulating materials. During testing, the system automatically collects voltage, current, and time data, displays the breakdown process curve, and generates test reports.
The equipment can be configured with different maximum output voltages, including 50 kV, 100 kV, and 150 kV. Optional control systems include computer-based operation, touchscreen operation, or integrated control solutions.
For special research requirements, a high-temperature testing module can be added to evaluate insulation performance under elevated temperature conditions.
