Polymer Melt Pumps

Introduction

The  Polymer Melt Pump Series is designed to provide stable, precise, and pulsation-free melt conveying for polymer extrusion processes. Installed between the extruder and the die, the melt pump ensures constant melt pressure and output, significantly improving product consistency, dimensional accuracy, and overall extrusion efficiency.

The series covers a wide range of applications including compounding, sheet, film, pipe, profile, pelletizing, and high-performance polymer processing, providing reliable solutions for various extrusion systems.

Overview

A polymer melt pump is a positive displacement gear pump specifically designed for high-temperature polymer melts. By precisely transferring molten polymer at a constant volumetric rate, the pump isolates pressure fluctuations generated by the extruder and delivers a stable melt flow to downstream equipment.

Compared with extrusion systems operating without a melt pump, the use of a melt pump provides more stable pressure, improved dimensional consistency, reduced melt temperature, lower screw wear, higher production capacity, and better overall product quality.

DA-H Standard
